Seonghyeon from South Korea and his time in Sopot
Who are you? Briefly describe yourself (where do you come from, what do you study, etc.)
My name is Seonghyeon (24) from South Korea. I am studying international business as exchange student at University of Gdansk Faculty of Economics! My home university is Kyungpook University, my original major is Business management. My hobby is traveling on foot also alone! I worked as travel designer in Daegu, my home city in Korea. My dream is to make world where everybody can be happy!
What has surprised you in Poland?
Enviornment of Poland is really clean and beautiful!! Specially water and air is very clean. Polish people are very kind, they always try to help foreigner.
How did you come up with the idea of studying in Poland?
Poland is place of opportunity! There are a lot of smart human resources, good natural resources and big potential power! I want to learn about the motivation of Poland's growth though. Most of European countries have difficulty of financial crisis!
Do you remember the first days of studying in Poland? Describe the struggles you went through:
Actually, it was the first time to take class in English except English speaking class! I was so hard to understand my first class!! After that, I always made record classes and listened again! Now, I think that I can understand very well ^_^
Tell us about the differences between studies in Poland and studies in South Korea:
1) Class time! Poland : 90m / Korea 75m. -> too long to concentrate on the class. 2) Poland doesn't have lunch break! Maybe there are just supper time? / Korea has long lunch break, from 11:45~ 13:30.
What do you like about studying in Poland?
I can say about studying in Sopot not in Poland. Sopot is really a nice place to enjoy my life!!! Beach, many cafes, restaurants, and so on!! This is very good place to learn how to enjoy our life!!

Describe the places in Poland, that have a positive influence on you:
Poznań: this city has a lot of parks... People sit and lie on the grass It looks very peaceful, also Poznan has many museums and gallery. This city is historical and artistic place!
Tell us about the country you've always wanted to visit, but still haven't:
Sweden!! -> how they can live very well, I am wondering about their life!
Have you made any permanent relations with polish students? What you like the most in them?
ESN: they are very kind and friendly to foreign students!
Would you like to come back to Poland in the future? Why?
Of course!! I want to show Poland to my family!! -> this is my one of dreams!!
