Who are you? Briefly describe yourself
Czesc!:) I´m Zuzana, 22 years old. I come from Slovakia, where I´ve been studying International Management at University of Economics in Bratislava. Here, in Poland, I´m an Erasmus student at University of Gdansk.
What has surprised you in Poland?
Honestly, before my arrival to Poland, I didn´t have any big expectations. But now, I really positively surprised. Northern Poland is simply wonderful. Everywhere colorful buildings, sea, beaches and even more friendly and open - minded people...
How did you come up with the idea of studying in Poland?
Hm, Poland was spontaneous decision, which I never regretted.
Do you remember the first days of studying in Poland? Describe the struggles you went through:
Actually, I didn´t go through any kind of big troubles. And if I had some, always found someone who helped me.
Tell us about the differences between studies in Polnad and studies in Slovakia:
Universities have many differences, even, if they are in the same country...but, for me the biggest suprise was semester division on odd and even week
What do you like about studying in Poland?
National diversity at lectures and different points of view :)
Do you know any famous people from Poland?
Kopernik, pope Jean Paul ll., Adam Mickiewicz, Marie Curie, F. Chopin....
Describe the places in Poland, that have a positive influence on you:
Sopot molo, Gdansk old town, some good cafes in Sopot
Tell us about the country you´ve always wanted to visit, but still haven´t:
Spain - mainly southern part, South America ( Peru, Chile, Bolivia ), Aljaska, Japan
Are you a member of any student´s club or organization? Tell us something about it:
Yes, I´m member of AIESEC, where I took lot of different positions such as teamleader, member of organizational committee for lot of national conferences and national event ( NDK 2012 ).
Would you like to come back to Poland in the future? Why?
Of course yes, I fell in love with this country.
