Student from Finland decides to study in Poznan
Who are you? Briefly describe yourself (where do you come from, what do you study, etc.)
I'm a Finnish man living in Turku Finland. I'm studying economics at Turku University of Applied Sciences. I was on my exchange at Poznan in spring 2012 at Poznan University of Economics.
What has surprised you in Poland?
I knew many things about Poland already before but one nice surprise was the vast amount of good beer labels.
How did you come up with the idea of studying in Poland?
Just did. Not too far, not too close, both in geography and culturally.
Do you remember the first days of studying in Poland? Describe the struggles you went through:
I didn't struggle much :)
Tell us about the differences between studies in Poland and studies in Finland :
There were no significant differences.
What do you like about studying in Poland?
I liked a lot! It was interesting experience to study abroad and meet different people. PUE was quite good university I think.
Do you know any famous people from Poland?
Yes. Lech Walesa, Nicolaus Copernicus, Marie Curie, Frederic Chopin and the previous pope.
Describe the places in Poland, that have a positive influence on you:
At least the following cities: Poznan, Warsaw and Tricity. There are many places I still want to visit. Time went so fast there.
Tell us about the country you've always wanted to visit, but still haven't:
Have you made any permanent relations with polish students? What do you like in the most of them?
Yes. They are very nice ;)

Working is overrated :P
Would you like to come back to Poland in the future? Why?
Yes! I like the country and places there. And I like Polish people and beer they make:)
