Mathilde French student in Sopot
Who are you? Briefly describe yourself.
I'm Mathilde and I come from Lyon in France. In France I study in a business school since 3 years and in Poland I study at the faculty of management at University of Gdansk. I'm in Sopot since the middle of February and I will leave in June.
What has surprised you in Poland?
At first the cold! But after sightseeing in different cities the building architecture is almost the same in the old towns.
How did you come up with the idea of studying in Poland?
I wanted to discover this country; I didn't know anything about it. And I came here to study to discover also another way of teaching/studying, but finally it's the same than in France.
Do you remember the first days of studying in Poland? Describe the struggles you went through.
The hardest was to choose which lectures I wanted because the description of lectures doesn't exist. Otherwise in the dormitory, the bad thing is that nobody speaks English at the reception... After that no struggles.
Tell us about the differences between studies in Poland and studies in France:
The differences are huge, the lectures are for one all hour and not 45 minutes, the exams at the end are harder.
