Koray from Turkey and his time in Wroclaw

Who are you? Briefly describe yourself (where do you come from, what do you study, etc.)

Hi Dzień Dobry! I'm Koray from Turkey. I have studied computer science department for winter semester. I have been at Wroclaw University of Technology. Wroclaw is too cute city in Poland.

What has surprised you in Poland?

First of all exactly Polish language it is too hard . I couldn't learn even number :) but in my opinion it sounds good another one endless winter . I have seen snow from end of October to February.

How did you come up with the idea of studying in Poland?

Suddenly I and my friends decided to study abroad . We had several options such as Sweden , Poland , the Czech Republic . I chose Poland and I love it :)

Do you remember the first days of studying in Poland? Describe the struggles you went through:

Of course . I have some problems about accomodation. In fact that my university has got dormitory which is very comfortable . The First day they didn't settle correct dormitory . One Polish guy help me and solved the problem . Except it I have confused because of going abroad first time . Later we got used to each other with all students around different countries :)

Tell us about the differences between studies in Poland and studies in Turkey:

Politechnica Wroclawska is really of high quality university . It's collect students around all the world . If we talk about my university in Turkey it is giving education only Turkish language . So ondokuzmayis university hasn't got a lot of international students . I didn't learn Polish language but I studied in Poland easily :)

What do you like about studying in Poland?

Even though difficult lessons . I am very glad because I took nearly perfect education . All lessons have got laboratories . Lecturer are interested in with students especially Erasmus/ international students.

Do you know any famous people from Poland?

Certainly. Frederic Chopin, Nicolas Copernic and Marie Curie

Describe the places in Poland, that have a positive influence on you:

Warsaw, Wroclaw, Krawkow. Wroclaw is typically student city. I have visited a lot of church. There are a lot of traditional and historical place Japanese garden is very nice and rynek very crowded and funny place. Especially Christmas time. I have visited for a while Warsaw. It influence to me mega city in Poland Warsaw Centralna and Olympic stadium are awesome of course old town you have to see! If we come Krakow previous capital city you can see inheritance staffs about World War II.

Tell us about the country you've always wanted to visit, but still haven't:

During Erasmus in Poland, I have been nine different countries around Europa. But I haven't gone Spain, Portugal, the Netherland. I want to go first opportunity this place. My roommate was Spanish. We have a good relationship. I hope I will be able to go soon!!!

Are you a member of any student's club or organization? Tell us something about it:

Actually I am not member But I want to helping. Coming student from abroad to Turkey. In my free time I can do it

Would you like to come back to Poland in the future? Why?

Tak :) I would like come back Because Poland is very cheap, Polish girls are pretty, people are hospitable. I am not stranger in Poland I stayed 5 months It is my second country. Do widzenia!
