Who are you? Short bios.
My name is Jeremie Pilo. I am a french student who lives in Paris. I study in a business school named IPAG located in the center of Paris. I am doing an e - marketing degrees and I am also half polish from my mom. I studied at Gdansk University.
What has surprised you in Poland?
People and also landscape surprised me in Poland. It was very nice to live in Gdansk because its a beautiful city and walors visiting the country by train is great.
How did you come up with the idea of studying in Poland?
I wanted to go to Poland because my mom is from Poland and so I wanted to discover this country because its a part of me.
Do remember the early days of studying in Poland? Describe the struggles you went through.
The first time I arrived it was stressfull cause I was alone at the airport and I had to take a bus , but fortunatly someone helped me to bring me in the center of Sopot. Then find an apartment was easy and I was with 4 other erasmus. It was nice.
What's the difference between studies in Poland and studies in France?
The difference with France is the atmosphere I think. I met the erasmus community and its totally different cause you are motivated for everything and you discover another culture. It is very exiting. Also vodka is cheaper.
Do you know any famous people from Poland?
Yeah! (smile) Chopin, Copernic and Jean Paul 2.
Which places in Poland have a positive influence on you?
I will say I love Krakow, but in general visiting this country had a positive influence on me and allowed me to discover a new culture and new people.
Number 1 country you have always wanted to visit but still haven't?
I will say .............. New Zeland.
