Interview with Romanian student in Torun
Who are you? Briefly describe yourself (where do you come from, what do you study, etc.)
I'm Angela, i'm 21 years old and i come from Romania. I am a student at the Faculty of Archivistic and i had the chance to study in Poland History.
What has surprised you in Poland?
My first surprise was the new different language which surrounded me everywhere, after I had all kind of nice surprises in the people I met and of course with the diversity I came into.
How did you come up with the idea of studying in Poland?
This was possible because of a partnership my university had with the one in Torun.
Do you remember the first days of studying in Poland? Describe the struggles you went through:
I remember I was really exited 'cause it was something different to experiment and I was really eager to meet all the people around me.
Tell us about the differences between studies in Poland and studies in Romania:
In Poland the schedule was lighter and the nature of the evaluation for the exams was also more interractive.
What do you like about studying in Poland?
I liked every single aspect starting with the way I have managed to interract with my professors and continuing with the way I connected with my classmates.
Do you know any famous people from Poland?
Nicolaus Copernicus, Marie Curie Sklodowska, Henryk Sienkiewicz
Describe the places in Poland, that have a positive influence on you:
I was charmed by Krakow and I plan to visit again in the future.
Tell us about the country you've always wanted to visit, but still haven't:
I can't talk about only one country, because there are so many great places all over the world and I hope to visit as many as I can.
Have you made any permanent relations with polish students? What do you like in the most of them?
I had the ocassion to interract with a few polish students and I really liked their spirit and nontheless their altruism cause in a few casses I need help and they didn't hesitated to help me.
Would you like to come back to Poland in the future? Why?
I would definetly want to visit Poland again and maybe to live a period of time there cause many great memories link me to this country and to my great Erasmus experiece I have lived.
