Who are you ? Briefly describe yourself (where do you come from, what do you study, etc.)
I am Akarsh K. I come from India and my field of study is International Business.
What has surprised you in Poland?
The surprising element was culture and the education system in universities, which are lot different than in my home country.
How did you come up with the idea of studying in Poland?
I have actually been living in Poland for a long time, and hence I decided to pursue the opportunities available here.
Do you remember the first days of studying in Poland? Describe the struggles you went through?
When I arrived here, the language was a problem. Polish language is difficult to learn when it comes to grammar or literature or perhaps doing any courses here. Moreover, integrating with the people and adjusting to the cultural differences was tough.
Tell us about the differences between studies in Poland and studies in India?
Studies in India are much more difficult than in Poland, therefore the teachers are more demanding. As far as, the structure of studies or semester plans are concerned, they are much more sophisticated than in Poland. Furthermore, studies in India are characterized with frequent examinations.
What do you like about studying in Poland?
The studies are simple and courses are available in English.
Do you know any famous people from Poland?
Yes, I have heard about Szymon Majewski and Kuba Wojewódzki and some other known TV shows hosts.
Describe the places in Poland, that have a positive influence on you:
As per my opinion, I would say that Tricity has had a positive influence. I think people here are more open minded than in other small towns I have been in.
Tell us about the country you've always wanted to visit, but still haven't:
I always wanted to visit the UAE. The country is developed and there are better job opportunities. When it comes to tourism, I think it has many beautiful places that are worth visiting.
Are you a member of any student's club or organization? Tell us something about it:
Would you like to come back to Poland in the future? Why?
Yes, because I would like to visit my friends and family.
Have you made any permanent relations with polish students? What do you like in the most of them?
I have made a lot of friends here. They are mainly friendly and hospitable.
