Interview with Chinese student in Poland

Who are you? Briefly describe yourself (where do you come from, what do you study, etc.)

My name is Y. Gao. I'm from China and I study "International Business" in UG.

What has surprised you in Poland?

I think it's the environment, air is more fresh, trees are more green, everything feels nice here.

How did you come up with the idea of studying in Poland?

By the agency.

Do you remember the first days of studying in Poland? Describe the struggles you went through?

I thought everything was strange, but also fresh.

Tell us about the differences between studies in Poland and studies in China?

In fact, I just came here after my high school, so I don't know how the university looks like in China, but I find it really relaxing to study here.

What do you like about studying in Poland?

To be honest, it's the landscape.

Do you know any famous people from Poland?

Describe the places in Poland, that have a positive influence on you:

I have been to Cracow last year, it's a really nice city. It makes me want to travel all over the Poland.

Tell us about the country you've always wanted to visit, but still haven't:

France, Spain, Italy.

Are you a member of any student's club or organization ? Tell us something about it:

No, I'm not.

If you run your own business or work anywhere, please tell us something about it (what is it, how many hours weekly do you work, etc.)

I had to find a part-time job in China as a waiter and worked for six hours every day. I hope I can also find a little job here. Maybe in the weekend, maybe holiday.

Would you like to come back to Poland in the future? Why?

I think I will, first of all I have friends here, and also it's a really nice place to travel.
