Who are you? Briefly describe yourself (where do you come from, what do you study, etc.)
Hello, I am Gizem. I am from Turkey coming from İzmir Ege University. I study English Language and Literature at Nicolaus Copernicus in Torun.
What has surprised you in Poland?
Everything at the beginning truly but then I got used to all.
How did you come up with the idea of studying in Poland?
I was thinking about Erasmus since High School so I took my decision and wanted to go to abroad. Poland is my first abroad experience.
Do you remember the first days of studying in Poland? Describe the struggles you went through:
Yes to be honest my coordinator didn't help much she was not interested.
Tell us about the differences between studies in Poland and studies in Turkey:
Nicolaus Copernicus university is a good university I think I didn't feel myself as Erasmus I need to study all the time.
What do you like about studying in Poland?
Cheap country nice place to see and good education I think it is not sth bad you can come and enjoy Poland but if you think that you will be free in your lessons you are wrong you have to study as Erasmus :D
Do you know any famous people from Poland?
Yes Chopin and Nicolaus Copernicus and the Pope.
Describe the places in Poland, that have a positive influence on you:
I love every Old Town I saw.
Tell us about the country you've always wanted to visit, but still haven't:
I have visited almost every country I wanted during my Erasmus Stay I am happy.

Would you like to come back to Poland in the future? Why?
Of course I will be glad I hope I find opportunities to come again especially to Torun my little sweet town <3.

I work as private English Tutor at my home country it depends I can go to the pupil's house as hourly or work all day in a education institution.
