French student and his studies in Warsaw

Who are you? Briefly describe yourself (where do you come from, what do you study, etc.)

Hi , I'm Théo , French student in International Relations in the Vistula University.

What has surprised you in Poland?

First of all, it was the ability to made myself understanding in English by a lot of people (really different in France) so it was quite good to feel confident since the first day.

How did you come up with the idea of studying in Poland?

Well , I had the chance to already lived in Russia (Kaliningrad) for 3 years and I really appreciate this atmosphere of the East European Countries. Then I wanted to study abroad, not only for one or two semester, but as real student.

Do you remember the first days of studying in Poland? Describe the struggles you went through:

Well, pretty easy to remember, the administration of my university registered me in the wrong faculty, so after the first day I was studying Computer Science (but I'm the worst maths guy on earth).

Tell us about the differences between studies in Poland and studies in France:

Well, the schedule here is really light instead of France, but after all, I get used to it, and I really appreciate it now. Then, I really not feel aware with the mark system, I can understand how you can evalute the skill of somebody on 5 ...

What do you like about studying in Poland?

It's really amazing to be with so many nationalities differents . I met really interesting people , and charge different point of view and cultures , it's really what I was expecting for.

Do you know any famous people from Poland?

Roman Polanski , Lech Walesa ...

Describe the places in Poland, that have a positive influence on you:

Krakow really gave me good mood and knowledge, but I still prefer the area of Gdansk.

Tell us about the country you've always wanted to visit, but still haven't:

I guess it's gonna be Japan or Australia.

Are you a member of any student's club or organization? Tell us something about it:

I just found a perfect ERASMUS group on Facebook, and it's really perfect to know all the event organize for us.

Would you like to come back to Poland in the future? Why?

Well , I'll be here for 3 years so I'll tell you this after all!

If you run your own business or work anywhere, please tell us something about it (what is it, how many hours weekly do you work, etc.)

Actually , I have kind of project to open French Bar/Club ... But still secret!
