Who are you? Briefly describe yourself (where do you come from, what do you study, etc.)
My name is Lena Z., I come from Crym. My mother is from Ukraine and my father is from Poland. I was going to thePolish high-school in Gdynia. I passed Polish high-school certificate. Now I am studying third year of International economic relations (MSG).
What has surprised you in Poland?
Different approach to life, cleaner, less colorful, modern infrastructure.
How did you come up with the idea of studying in Poland?
I am living in Poland so the idea of studying here, came up naturally.
Do you remember the first days of studying in Poland? Describe the struggles you went through?
The first day was very nice. I have got only some problems with language and adaptation.
Tell us about the differences between studies in Poland and studies in Ukraine?
Studies in Poland and Ukraine are very similar. The main difference is that there is no as many foreign students as here.
What do you like about studying in Poland?
Easy program of studies, time to work and practice and more specialized subjects.
Do you know any famous people from Poland?
I know Pezet, Monika Brodka and president of Poland Bronisław Komorowski.
Describe the places in Poland, that have a positive influence on you:
I especially like south part of Poland, cities like Kraków or Zakopane. I also fancy 3-city here is forests and beaches. They have very good influence on me.
Tell us about the country you've always wanted to visit, but still haven't:
I always wanted to go to the USA. I want to see how people live there and feel the atmosphere of this country.
Are you a member of any student's club or organization ? Tell us something about it:
I have joined to the "Koło Naukowe studio Azji Wschodniej" at first year. I am interested in Asian culture and learning Chinese.
Would you like to come back to Poland in the future? Why?
I am planning to stay, but if I won't find a job then I will go abroad.
Have you made any permanent relations with polish students? What you like the most in them?
Yes, I have many friends here. They are very nice and sympathetic.
